How can you say we re independent contractors when you can't make any money unless you make the app "happy". Algorithmic Employment at best. To say your not interfering with the process is an understatement you are in full control of with the new and your only going to add more AI in the coming years which allows you to "not" interfere with the process as you are doing now. Let's be real your 85 to 90 percent in control of your system which ICs use unless market conditions factor in for changes

I feel like DoorDash
Is not paying us correctly awhile back in 2022 they got sue for taking tip from dasher where when customer tip they not giving dasher the full tip they would used also delivery price for delivery change it to 2-3 delivery I see the changes since I work for DoorDash for years. Also there add on order they low ball is it should be a requirement that DoorDash need to pay a set price to deliver also the promo they keep acting like this going to help up but only helping them on prop 22 where they don’t pay us the full amount since they giving us promo they used that to lower are prop 22 pay this should be reported and investigated because the company is using us as slave for cheap deliver door dasher should start asking customer to catch this misleading pay also they don’t show us the break down how much customer paid and how much actually customer tip

Tip for distance.
It’s not fair that I have to drive an hour out of the hotspot to deliver one single hamburger with no tip. The way these gas prices are set up if the customer lives at least 20+ miles from their pick up there needs to be a five dollar tip automatically.

Pay doesn’t match offers, support is useless.
On multiple occasions, I have been offered a certain amount to deliver an order and inevitably there is an error and they pay that I end up receiving does not even come close to what they originally offered me even though the error was no fault of mine, and I still completed the order and when I bring it to support they keep me on the phone for 10 minutes, repeating themselves and repeating me and just to tell me at the end that they actually have no control over the pay and it’s all automatically algorithmically generated and there’s nothing that they can do about it and if you try to ask for a supervisor, they will just say no and if you press they tell you that there is no supervisor and that it’s not possible to speak to anybody higher than them even though they have no access to anything in the system.

Ineptitude in your support team
I signed up from Canada, with a Canadian address and Canadian documents. I was even screened using the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) system for background check. But somehow your system decided that I’m in the USA. Nobody on your team has been able to solve this issue for me. The person who is supposed to be the supervisor said that a specialized team would be able to assist me with my issue. All I received is an email saying… “Thank you for reaching out to DoorDash! This is Melissa with DoorDash Support. I apologize for the inconvenience, once you sign up you cannot switch countries. You can sign up again with the correct country.” I asked “How do I do that?” Then she said “I don’t know. Somebody is going to contact you in about five business days.” They never solve anything they just keep going in circles. Nobody is in charge or accountable they just get paid for doing nothing.
