Description

This application allows you to calculate the length of the legs, the angle between them, and the forces acting on the bridle and the elements of the structure to which it is suspended.

Thanks to additional calculators, it is possible to calculate the Apex height and the position of the bridle point, changes in the load on the beam between two points, as well as the forces acting on the cantilever load, breast line horizontal forces, and several other calculations useful in arena fields.

The application accepts all units of measurement, both metric and imperial (cm, m, in, ft). Whether you input values in feet or meters, the results will be accurate and consistent with the unit you used.

v2.7

poor functionality. no bridle tension. feels vibecoded.

Developer Response

All formulas used to perform the calculations in the application are consistent with the principles of mathematics and physics. Check the green “Forces” button after clicking the “Calculate” button. Best regards

Why does it require a weight to calculate bridle leg length? This doesn't make sense... you did not answer my question...

Developer Response

Hei. Although the weight is not required to calculate the bridle leg lengths, you still need to enter a value. The calculator uses the weight to calculate the forces acting on each bridle leg at the same time. If you don't need these force calculations, simply enter any value and ignore the "Forces" tab.

What would be great for those that work in regions where metric amd imperial units are used side by side, would be the ability to togle between units when in the screen showing the results, so if you have equipment labled in metric and imperial for those who can't do the calcs in their heads its easier to understand.

Developer Response

Thank you for the feedback.

I cant find where to switch the input into ft and inches. For android. It doesn't even show me what it's measuring in

Developer Response

Please read the information and the app description carefully. It says: "The application accepts all units of measurement, both metric and imperial (cm, m, in, ft). Whether you input values in feet or meters, the results will be accurate and consistent with the unit you used."There is no need to switch anything; just work with the units you use.

Why is there no option for feet??? It's only in inches and centimeters

Developer Response

Hi. During normal use enter values in any units of measurement the calculator does not recognize whether you entered 10 m,10 cm, 10 ft or in,the result will always be correct. Use the conversion buttons only when you need to convert from metric units (cm) to imperial (in) or vice versa Best regads
