Description

FUTO Voice Input is an application that adds voice input capabilities to your phone. It integrates with apps and keyboards that support the standard Android voice input APIs (ACTION_RECOGNIZE_SPEECH and Voice IME). All processing is done completely offline on your device, and your recordings are NEVER saved or sent anywhere. The app accesses the Internet only when you choose to download optional models. FUTO Voice Input respects your privacy.

After using it for a least a year: it's very frustrating to use. It shows the recognized text but then 80% of the time it just closes instead of pasting the result. I hoped that they would fix the issue but the problem hasn't been fixed for at least a year now.

It's great and I like the fact that it's not sending out all my data to Google, but it's really silly when it makes up stuff, when it doesn't recognize anything.

My only struggle here is how if you don't say anything or at the end of something you've said it always tends to answer thanks for watching or see you on the next video or some honestly some dumb end statement like that and I just wanted to translate my speech to text I don't want it to add any stupid YouTube excrement.
