OPDSy: Comic & eBook Reader

📚 Ebook reader for the books and comics already on your phone. OPDSy reads EPUB, PDF, MOBI, AZW3, FB2, CBZ and CBR — no account, no ads, no tracking, and it works offline. Add any folder as a library, or connect a self-hosted OPDS server such as Komga or Kavita.

Connect your OPDS servers to read everything in one place, or open a file straight from another app. New to OPDS? It's the open standard that self-hosted libraries like Komga, Kavita, Ubooquity, Calibre-Web, BookOrbit, Grimmory and LazyLibrarian use to share your books. Add your first server or folder in seconds and start reading. 🚀

📖 Works with your whole library:

• Servers: Komga, Kavita, Ubooquity, Calibre-Web, BookOrbit, Grimmory, LazyLibrarian, and any OPDS 1.2 or OPDS 2.0 server
• Local: add any folder on your device as a local library, or open a file straight from another app
• WebDAV: browse and read from any WebDAV server
• Ebooks: EPUB, MOBI, AZW3, FB2 and PDF
• Comics & manga: CBZ anywhere, plus CBR streamed page-by-page over OPDS-PSE where your server supports it
• Also: Markdown with Mermaid.js diagrams

⭐ Key features:

✔ One unified library across every server, with per-source colour badges
✔ Each source loads independently — one slow or offline server never breaks the rest
✔ Comic reader: paged or continuous vertical-scroll (webtoon), left-to-right or right-to-left for manga, fit-to-screen or fit-to-width
✔ Dual-page spreads in landscape; double-tap or pinch to zoom into artwork
✔ Smart page prefetching, so the next page is ready before you swipe
✔ Ebook reader: adjustable fonts and line spacing, with light, sepia and OLED-friendly dark themes
✔ Built-in PDF reader with pinch and double-tap zoom
✔ Markdown reader with Mermaid.js diagram rendering
✔ Text-to-speech: listen to any ebook, flowing sentence by sentence and auto-continuing between chapters, with speed and pitch control and offline or online voices
✔ Offline dictionary: tap Define on any word to see its meaning, examples and synonyms without leaving the page — downloaded on demand, and every lookup stays on your device
✔ Jump straight to a page: drag the slider, type an exact page, or flick through a filmstrip of page thumbnails in comics and PDFs; books list every chapter too
✔ Continue Reading remembers your place across every source
✔ Mark anything read or unread, and folders show a READ badge once you've finished everything inside
✔ Highlight passages in five colours with your own notes, and bookmark a place in any book, PDF or comic — all in one list, and synced to your other devices
✔ Favourite books and folders for one-tap access from your home screen
✔ Read offline: download comics and books to your device, with downloads that resume automatically
✔ Available in 50 languages
✔ Made for e-ink: an E-reader screen with a high-contrast black-on-white theme, animations off to stop ghosting, and volume keys that turn the page on e-readers

🔒 Private by design:

✔ No accounts, no ads, no third-party analytics, no tracking of any kind
✔ Connects only to the self-hosted servers you choose
✔ Credentials stored securely in your device keychain
✔ Optional cross-device sync is fully end-to-end encrypted — readable only by you
✔ Dictionary lookups happen entirely on-device — nothing you look up ever leaves your phone
✔ Optionally publish your reading position back to Komga instead, so its web UI and your other devices show the same place
✔ Files on your device stay on your device
