I've had this app for over ten years now and it's one of the only things I never uninstall, period. it's exactly what it needs to be, has daily crosswords included with no subscription. Probably the best value per dollar I've gotten out of any purchase in my life

used to be a good app I have used it for many years starting with a palm pilot then to an iPhone 4 then to android, now it won't show times at the end of the game like it used to

Checked, works here. Probably a good reason like no internet, if you even saw this. This has never paid my bills. There is a free version you could've tried first, if it's so bad, don't buy it, I don't need your $ or bs review, which of the 500 other crossword app companies do you work for?

UPDATE: The November 4, 2025 update fully corrected all my problems. I am now happy to give it 5-stars. I have been using this app for 10-15 years and love it. But the recent update doesn't work properly on my Pixel 9 Pro XL. The UI extends into the notifications area, which makes it very difficult to use. I hope that they will fix this soon. Edited to add that I sent screenshots to the developer's email.

We pushed an update to handle google changes for different status bar heights, since they required api 36 target which forces all apps to be edge to edge

So much buggy behavior. For example: can't reliably get it to open a new file, when you've solved an imported puzzle it loses all the meta information, etc.

not a bug, I never built it. can't work for free. so we offer import, when no one else did and we get 2 stars? we've been the #2 top paid word game and made very little $. Was it better to have hundreds of free, cheap, ad packed apps funded by god knows who rather than supporting improvement of this app?

great crossword app. been using it for years. LOVE THIS APP. easy to use. easy to configure. subtle but very effective features. I highly recommend.
