DO NOT USE THIS APP! I booked a room on Friday through this app, or at least I THOUGHT I did. The app took money out of my account for the room, bit didn't book the room. So when I went to check in, the hotel ran my card and it was declined because the money was already taken out by this app. Its was like I was being charged twice for one room! And then to cancel was a whole ordeal, as well as getting the money refunded! This app is just a SCAM!

No ownership
Plz don’t use trip.com for any booking.. I had a very unpleasant experience. Booked the room when I tried to cancelling no ownership taken from trip.com to help the customer in cancelling the booking, they key redirecting to hotel but hotel they said they won’t accept the trip.com booking id

Stupid service
I expect Trip.com to take full responsibility for processing my medical cancellation request as the merchant of record. Instead, the process has been delayed by a continuous reliance on 'airline approval.' With my travel date approaching, this delay places me at a significant financial disadvantage; a voluntary cancellation would secure a 50% refund, yet I risk being left with only 25% if the airline rejects the claim at the last minute. This structure shifts all the risk onto the consumer and is entirely unacceptable.

I have purchased ticket for MNA and need to change the date. Both airline and trip.com change policies stating Free to change the date if more than 4 days of departure. However, I was asked to pay $251 by Trip.com for the date change when I requested for more than 4 days of departure. When contacted Airline date changed is FREE however, they can’t change for me as I directly bought it from Trip.com. Please do not use Trip.com anymore. Cheating customer!!! I have contacted Trip.com customer support many times. Every time I was told to pay as the payment is set by airline policy which is not true at all. Also, the change policy on Trip.com clearly stated, NO CHANGE FEE for return segment even departure ticket has been used, if the request is made more than 4 days of departure. My request was 2 weeks before departure and Trip.com insisted to pay for change fee as the departure ticket has been used. I tried so many times to talk to their customer support and every times ask me to pay for change fee which is totally different from the policy. I am so frustrated with Trip.com cheating me like this and I am so disappointed keep explaining their customer support team. I am very unhappy with trip.com and not going to use this fraud travel agent!!!

"Disappointed with Tier's approach to customer service. Their 'support' feels like just a display – when issues arise, they're nowhere to be found. All decisions are pushed back to the hotel, with no advocacy for the customer. In contrast, Agoda's support team is more proactive and customer-centric.

Very bad communication and service
The airline changed the departing airport and for some reason this app will have the airline communications sent to them and then send their own flight change email to you. However, the communication is bad and does not highlight major changes such as change in airport resulting in us missing the flight as we ended up at the wrong airport. The service staff are also not empathetic and just quotes policies to refuse any refund.
