Rise of Cultures is a lot more balanced than Forge of Empires and does not have player power creep. But that lack of power creep also makes it a lot harder to advance than FoE. There is a SUPER long recruitment time for units, so you need to wait 30-60 minutes between each battle. The wait between battles is most frustrating part. But the game can be played relaxingly with no time limit. Also, the game feels a bit too hard in 3rd-5th eras. Most of the event buildings are useless. No ads.

I was so eager about it but after playing, I had a customization and it was from ancient persia, the problem was it had 10 days duration😒😒😒. deleted it right after it ended. never seen a cheap game like this in my life.

Their games are way to slow. This is the 2nd or 3rd I've tried now and day 4 and I'm still just doing the basic farming because you can't advance. I've managed to get from stone age to just unlock bronze age but its just so boring. Wait for food to grow, collect food, wait for food to grow collect food, collect gold from houses, wait for food..... etc. Uninstalling and won't be trying another from this developer. Its quicker to watch grass grow or paint dry.
