This app has got to be a joke... Giving me harsh acceleration events because I gained 5MPH in 2 seconds? I've now just had one for a phone distraction event which has prompted me to write this review. It shows me having a phone distraction event at 20:44, a whole 5 minutes after my Ring doorbell records me walking into my house! Even the little pin is placed on top of my house!

Installed for curiosity value. Started off well but the app is mis-attributing harsh acceleration regularly now. I've calculated based on the provided data and the acceleration was way less than the stated 0.33G threshold and once even 0.09G was flagged. Worse, there is no way of disputing these driving events, despite these being undisputably factually wrong. Oh, and the app is constantly nagging and touting new insurance and new cars - very annoying!

overall the app is okay, not great on accuracy regarding acceleration and cornering penalties. lowered rating due to insurance quote offers being worse than comparison sites!! even with high drive score.

this app is getting worse and worse for logging "events" that aren't actually events, but you can't dispute them. apparently a 4 mph to 24 mph in 3.3 seconds is hard acceleration even though their website states you need to be at 0.33g or above. 4 to 24 in 3.3 seconds is 0.28g. that one is "close" to their threshold. same trip recorded 5mph to 12mph in 2.5 seconds as hard acceleration where this is only 0.13g. it's not hard to get this calculation correct.
