SD Maid 1 Pro - Unlocker

SD Maid 1 uses a separate Unlocker app as its license key. Both SD Maid 1 and the Unlocker must remain installed to enable Pro features. This is the legacy app; on Android 15, SD Maid 2 is the better-supported option, but it requires a separate Pro upgrade.

SD Maid 1/Legacy was built for Android 2.3–13, so compatibility issues on your Galaxy S24 Ultra with Android 16 are expected. Please try SD Maid 2, which was rebuilt for newer Android versions. You can also update from Google Play or contact me at support@darken.eu.

On your Redmi Note 9 Pro (Android 12), AppCleaner in SD Maid 1 is partly incompatible with newer MIUI/Android changes. Try this: 1) Update SD Maid 1 to the latest 5.6.x 2) If possible, try SD Maid 2, its AppCleaner is built for newer Android. If you can, mail me details: support@darken.eu

On your Galaxy Tab A11+ with Android 15 the old SD Maid 1 build is at its limits. The “scan” is slower because Android blocks a lot more file access now. Try: 1) Reboot once 2) Disable AppCleaner in Quick Access and test 3) If still awful, SD Maid 2 handles Android 15 much better.

You still own SD Maid 1 Pro, that’s not taken away. SD Maid 2/SE is a full rewrite for newer Android versions like your Pixel 7 on API 36, so it needs a separate purchase. If the price is rough where you live, mail me at support@darken.eu and I’ll see what I can do.
