I love this app but I'm getting real tired of it. putting my phone into do not disturb mode. when I go for a drive. every time I turn that function off it seems to turn itself back on.

I understand why that’s frustrating. Bluetooth Volume Manager doesn’t control Do Not Disturb, so another automation or Pixel setting may be re-enabling it. Please update via Google Play, reboot, and check Google Assistant/Routines. If it persists on your Pixel 10 Pro XL with Android 16, send details to support@darken.eu.

It only works if you lock the volume. On my Xiaomi I have a bug with random changes to notification and ringtone volumes when bluetooth and usb dac disconnect. I wanted the app to set volumes to max when internal speaker connects, but that doesn't work unless i lock volume too and lose the ability to lower it using other apps, which is not really an option to me.

Got it, that use case needs a real volume *limit*, not a full lock. Right now the app can only pin a fixed value, so your downside is expected. For the Xiaomi bug, try: • Disable battery optimization for BVM • Add “Speaker” and set target volumes Limiter is on my list.

On your Pixel 9 Pro with Android 17 that crash is bad. First try: • Update BVM if any update shows • Reboot phone • Disable battery optimizations for BVM If it still crashes, a log would help. Please mail me with details: support@darken.eu

On the Pixel 8 Pro Android 15 you need to add "Speaker" as a managed device so phone volume is restored after disconnect. Also disable battery optimization for the app. If it still yells, mail me with details and screenshots: support@darken.eu.
