This is a must have tool for any beginner guitarist. For a long time the notes on the bottom 4 strings of the guitar were a mystery to me, but I've had the app for less than a week and can confidently identify the note on any fret, and in Chords too!

One glaring oversight of the app is that there isn't a graphic to show and study all of the notes on the fret board to then take that knowledge into the quizzes. As a complete beginner, I'm just randomly pressing buttons as I don't have a fully noted fretboard to refer back to to fill in my many blanks. Its almost pointless in its current form, but has potential.

Very simple app with a retro style interface for learning the fretboard - and that's a good thing as it's super quick to pick up for 5 mins to practice anytime. It would be better if the app allowed you to pick which strings you wanted to focus on. The lesson structure adds strings as you progress, but you end up practicing strings you already know well. Edit - taking a star off as it's impossible to select lesson plan 6. The drop down cuts off the last plan and I cannot select it.

only a few things holding it back from being a 5 star app 1) Pause functionality is broken, there is no way to unpause once paused 2) I don't see why the orientation has to be locked to landscape. there should be an option for portrait, just orient the notes accordingly, the main fretboard can remain as is

I like the idea of this app but when used on my Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G the app automatically rotates horizontal. The result is that when trying to change settings for any of the games I can't see all of the options because the lists get cut short and don't scroll. For example I can't select Starting Level 6 which utilizes all 6 strings. My tablet is much bigger so this isn't an issue. Is it worth the $5...debatable.
