Accessibility Service (AccessibilityService)
Car Launcher PRO uses the Android Accessibility Service to recognise edge swipe gestures ("Back", "Home", "Recent Apps") and convert them into system navigation actions. This is especially useful for devices that lack physical or virtual navigation buttons.
How we request access:
β’ At the first launch of the app, you will see a full-screen notice with a detailed explanation of why this service is needed, along with "Agree" and "Disagree" buttons.
β’ If you agree, you will be taken to the gesture settings menu, where you can enable the feature. When you enable it, you will be redirected to the Android system settings for final activation.
β’ If you decline, the app works without gestures, and the request will not be shown again until you manually navigate to Settings β Gestures β Gesture for returning to the home screen and tap "Enable gesture service". In that case, the consent dialog will appear again, and only after your active agreement will the system settings open.
What the app DOES NOT do:
β’ Does NOT read, analyse, or collect the contents of your screen, entered text, or personal data.
β’ Does NOT change system settings without your knowledge.
β’ Does NOT collect, store, or transmit your personal data or usage data.
Your control:
β’ Use of the service is completely voluntary.
β’ You can disable it at any time in: Android Settings β Accessibility β Car Launcher PRO.
β’ You can also reβenable the service through the app settings, where your consent will be requested again.
