Employment Department is a State Government Department under the Ministry of Labour and Rehabilitation, Government of Kerala. The Employment Services department has a primary objective of providing an interface between the employers and the job seekers. It sponsors the candidates of required qualification, experience and skill set for various jobs within the shortest possible time. The department strives to achieve its objective through the process of registration, renewal, selection and advising of eligible candidates against notified vacancies.
e-Employment Kerala is a mobile application for e-Employment Exchange.
Services offered by e-Employment mobile App are
Registration Renewal: The candidate can renew the registration based on the renewal date of the registration.
Special Renewal: If the candidate lost the seniority due to the non renewal of registration within the required period can renew the Registration using Special Renewal (which will be activated as per Government Order).
Request for Change in Profile: The job seeker can request for possible changes in the personal profile (Personal details, Communication details).
Request for Exchange Transfer: The candidate can transfer the employment exchange based on the address change of candidate. For this service candidate has to enter the new address and based on the District, Taluk, Village and Ward of candidate new address the Employment Exchange can be transferred. The request is will be processed and approved through the workflow of the portal and will reflect in the profile later on.
The mobile App also provides information services such as
Candidate Profile: It includes Candidate personal details and Academic details those furnished by candidates during Employment Registration.
Seniority Status: Seniority status of job seeker in the published seniority lists against qualified posts.
Employment offers and History of Employment: Present offer of Employments to the candidates and the previous accepted offers details.
Private Job List: Job listings by Private Companies.
Helpline Telephone Numbers: Helpline numbers of 14 Districts and Employment directorate with tap to dial facility.
News feed: Latest news related to employment will be populated as news feed.
Notice: Latest notices issued by concerned employment exchange will be provided under notice option.
Job fair : Government of Kerala periodically launches to the unemployed people of Kerala. Employers and job seekers will be available in one place and the job seekers can meet the employers and get the chance to get their dream job. Notifications regarding the job fair will be provided through the mobile application.
