Plex Media Server

Media server has always been bad on Nvidia shield but it used to just need a quick restart or for me to go through a browser and relink my media folders. More annoyingly, the most recent time (possibly last 2 times) I had to fully reinstall the server app to be able to link to my account. The link code appeared to work but the screen would flicker and show a new code. After reinstalling I was able to link the server and add my folders again. It is getting boring.

Very laggy on Nvidia shield pro. Something updated and now it often takes 3-6 reloads to make the app stay on. Uninstalled the beta version and it's no better. Please fix this with a patch

Oh my goodness what a mess even after you point this directly to media it can't find it. Sadly I fear Plex are reaching the far end of Mr Doctorow 's theory...

crashes, randomly loses all saved settings, unintuitive and both missing modern features and had good features stripped from it.

Plex is dead for me .free basic services such as having 2 extra users to share with is gone. Alexa skill is eliminated -the only option i had my plex for - and not to mention the lack of privacy and juming the $99 premium life time subscription to about $300 for a closed source app when there is a much better option like jellyfin server which does everything that plex struggles to be. The wholphin app working as client app on your shield / google tv paired with jellyfin server offers you an experience you will forget plex or any simillar paid subscription services for ever.
