Most ghost detector apps show you a random number. GhostScope doesn't.
Every reading on the meter comes from your phone's magnetometer, the same sensor the compass uses. If a phone has no magnetometer, GhostScope says so on screen instead of making a number up.
THE EMF METER
A classic five-LED bar, the reading in microtesla and a rolling graph of the last two minutes. The scale is fixed, so a quiet room looks quiet. Calibrate to set the ambient field as your zero: hold the phone still, away from metal, and tap once. Every spike above your threshold is logged with its time and strength.
THE EVP RECORDER
Record, then play it back and listen closely. Recordings stay in the app's own storage on your phone. Nothing is uploaded and there is no account.
THE INVESTIGATION LOG
Stop a hunt and it is saved: how long it ran, the peak field and every event with its timestamp. Go back through a session instead of trying to remember what happened at 2am.

FOR ENTERTAINMENT
The magnetometer and microphone are real sensors and every number shown is a real reading. But a magnetic field is not evidence of anything paranormal: fridges, wiring, speakers and chargers all move the needle. GhostScope is made for fun and will never pretend a reading means more than it does.
