APP FEATURES
- Live map
See your current location on a real-time map. Switch between map styles, view subway and metro lines, and browse nearby business and shopping areas.
- Circle locations
See the real-time location of people in your circle who are actively sharing with you. They appear both on the map and in your list.
- Invite code sharing
Connect with someone using a personal invite code. Share your QR code or text code, and they can scan or enter it to add you — no phone number needed.
- Zone alerts (geofencing)
Create geofenced zones on the map and receive a notification when you, or someone sharing with you, enters or leaves an area such as home or work.
- Nearby places
Search for nearby restaurants, cafés, and public facilities around your current location.
- Compass
Use a real-time compass with altitude and latitude / longitude readings for hiking, travel, and outdoor orientation.
PRIVACY & CONSENT
Your privacy is central to how LocGo works. Location sharing is always consent-based and transparent:
- Your location is shared only after you choose to start an active sharing session. The app does not share your location without your action.
- While a session is active, a persistent notification stays visible so you always know when your location is being shared.
- You can end a sharing session at any time.
- You can stop sharing at any time.
- Others appear on your map only while they are actively sharing with you.
You stay in control of what you share, with whom, and for how long.
