PromptCam

PromptCam is a camera with a built-in teleprompter for everyone who speaks on camera: video creators, experts, teachers, presenters, and business owners.

Prepare your script, keep the text close to the lens, and record naturally without losing eye contact with your audience.

A TELEPROMPTER INSIDE YOUR CAMERA

Your script appears over the full-screen camera preview but is never included in the recorded video. While filming, you can adjust the scrolling speed, text size, position, prompt width and height, line spacing, colors, and appearance.

VOICE-PACED SCROLLING

In Voice mode, the script moves while the app detects speech and stops when you pause.

PromptCam does not recognize words. It only detects the presence of speech, so nearby voices may also affect scrolling. In noisy environments, use an external microphone or switch to Constant or Manual mode.

FORMATS FOR DIFFERENT PLATFORMS

Choose a frame that fits your content:

• vertical 9:16;
• landscape 16:9;
• square 1:1;
• portrait 4:5;
• custom frame ratio.

PromptCam displays only the recording quality options supported by the selected camera on your device.

MICROPHONE SUPPORT

PromptCam lets you select available system audio inputs, including built-in, wired, USB/USB-C, and Bluetooth microphones when the Android device supports them for recording.

Before filming, you can check:

• which microphone is actually active;
• the live audio level;
• whether Voice mode is detecting speech;
• the selected camera, frame, and orientation;
• available storage space;
• sound quality using a five-second test recording.

SCRIPTS AND TAKES

Create and edit scripts, set your reading speed, and keep multiple takes connected to each script. You can review, rename, share, and save completed recordings to your gallery.

PromptCam works entirely on your device.

• no account or registration;
• no advertising;
• no subscription;
• no servers or cloud processing;
• no analytics;
• no word recognition;
• no uploading of your scripts, audio, or video to the developer.

Your scripts and recordings remain on your device unless you choose to share them.
