Description

Roam the unknown with the Tread® app. It lets you track up to 20 friends on the map of your smartphone and Tread® powersport navigator by using the Group Ride Mobile feature and syncs waypoints, tracks, routes and collections across devices. Easily plan routes on your smartphone with the same maps, vehicle profiles and route preferences you have on your Tread device. Users can import and export GPX files and get access to smart notifications and live weather.

If you have extra time? this is the app for you!!!. Be ready to watch videos and read manuals to then learn you got nowhere. The app is to support a $600 GPX that also will require education, time and hours watching YouTube videos. I personally needed a GPX to improve my time riding not to be in the house playing videos and figuring what screen to touch. After a year reaching out for help Garmin/Tread put me back to free map apps like Osmand

What a joke. A very limited app, sadly the actual nav device is just as disappointing. - way pont are not numbered, no way to see the order of your route loops back on itself. - routes with just a few waypoint are not synced to zumo xt2. - no overview of waypoints. - tap on map to begin (route planning), but tapping does nothing. As a software engineer, I'm deeply embarrassed.

Unusable and frustrating - would NOT recommend Garmin. I am using a zumo XT2 and it takes more time to get it running than what I am driving with it... Imported routes cannot be opened, the app does not say why. The zumo XT2 does the same or just crashes. Editing a route in the app is completly impossible (literally). The synchronisation between Tread app and zumo XT2 is a mystery, routes do not appear or then appears multiple times, keeps syncing back and forth between nav and app.
