I have owned this app for many years at this point and it has always been one of the best tools on my job. I use it to simplify the process of finding the offset and bend angles for my run to suit pipe jobs(1/4" up to 1" piping) The recent update has eliminated the angles from the normal offset calculator forcing me to once again do math the longer way. Unhappy to lose that functionality!

Hey James. Shoot me a message on Facebook. We made some updates that allowed a variety options to work with angles. It did change the way it operated. We can take a look and see what we can bring back. Your feedback is very helpful.

I love this app and use it everyday for work but after the last update I cant choose a pipe diameter when needing fitting measurements . hope they fix it

Union steamfitter here: The multipliers on this app are flat out wrong. For a 45 offset you want to multiply the rise/run by 1.4142 (or 1.4/1.41/etc). I can understand a little rounding here and there but using 1.5 as your multiplier could result in disasters in the field. Even when I set the multiplier to the correct amount, however, its take-offs for 45 fittings are also wrong, usually by about a 1/2" overall. Not a huge deal but it could be in tight piping situations. The app needs work

The app uses 1.4142 for a 45 offset. The 1.5 multiplier you are referring to is how you determine the takeout for your 90 fitting not how you calculate the travel in an offset. You need the radius to do an accurate calculation of a 45 fitting. The SR, LR and 3R buttons are presets for common 90s. If your fitting is an LR fitting keep it at 1.5
