[How this differs from other silent camera apps]
Most silent camera apps shoot with their own camera, so quality suffers. This app has no camera of its own — it temporarily disables the device's sound, so you keep using your usual camera app at full quality.

[What happens while muting is on]
- Camera shutter and video start/stop sounds are silent.
- Screenshot sounds are silent too.
- Music, videos, notifications and alarms are all silent.

[Notes]
- Manual muting keeps all sound disabled until you turn it off. Per-app auto-muting turns on only while the camera is open, so you never forget.
- If you uninstall while manual muting is on, you can't turn it off. Always disable muting before uninstalling.

[If muting doesn't work]
The "If muting doesn't work" screen inside the app lists what to try. In order:
1. Restart your device and try again — a temporary state is often the cause.
2. Check for other muting or volume apps, which can interfere.
3. Switch the "app start/end detection method" setting.
4. Exclude this app from battery optimization.
5. If it still fails, your device may not support muting by design. Refund steps are provided inside the app.

Q. Ringtones and notifications went silent too.
A. That is by design — this app disables all device sound. Use per-app auto-muting so it is silent only while you use the camera.

Q. Muting stops working after a while.
A. Battery optimization may be stopping the app. Check "Exclude from battery optimization" in the settings.
