Smart Printer Pro - Print PDF

Print photos, PDFs, Word, Excel, PowerPoint files and web pages from your phone to a Wi-Fi printer, no computer needed. Scan documents into PDFs or copy a page like a photocopier. Files are converted and laid out on your phone and are never uploaded to a server. No account or sign-in, and no limit on how much you print.

KEY FEATURES

■ Photos
Pick up to 100 photos and drag to reorder them. Paper sizes include A4, Letter, 4×6", 5×7", 3.5×5", A5 and A3. Set orientation, fit or fill, margins, a thin border, black and white, the date taken and copies per photo. Crop, rotate, flip and adjust colors. What you see in the preview is exactly what prints.

■ PDF
Preview every page, then print in color or black and white. Password-protected PDFs open on Android 15 and later.

■ Word, Excel, PowerPoint and text
.docx, .xlsx, .pptx, older .doc and .xls, text, CSV and RTF are converted on your phone and previewed before printing, with options for text size, orientation, gridlines and a monospaced font. No Office app needed. Headers, footers, shapes and charts are left out, so save as PDF first when you need an exact copy.

■ Web pages
Open any page and print it. Hide sticky headers and banners, skip images to save ink, use the desktop site or change the text size. Pages can also be shared here from your browser.

■ Notes
Type or paste text and print it at once, or send selected text from another app.

■ Scan and copy
Photograph a document: the edges are cropped and the angle and brightness corrected, then it is saved as a PDF. Copy sends the scan straight to the print dialog without saving it. The scanner is part of Google Play services, and scans are not uploaded.

■ Both sides of a card on one page
Print the front and back of an ID card on one sheet at actual size (85.6 × 54 mm), or at 150% or 200%.

■ Printer status and ink levels
The app finds printers on your Wi-Fi by itself and shows whether each is ready, why it stopped, ink or toner levels and loaded paper (when the printer reports them). Retry or cancel jobs and open the printer's settings page.

■ Printer not found?
Check the usual causes step by step: a different Wi-Fi network, the print service turned off, a sleeping printer, or router and VPN settings.

■ Test page
Colors, fine lines, small text and a 10 cm ruler to confirm that ID photos and cards print at the right size.

■ Save, files and history
Save layouts as PDF or JPEG, for example for a photo kiosk. Saved files, recent documents and print history are in the Files tab, ready to print again. History keeps only names and dates.

■ Share and Open with
Send photos, PDFs, Office files, text or links here from any app.

SUPPORTED PRINTERS
Printers that the Android print service reaches over Wi-Fi or LAN, which includes most recent home and office Wi-Fi printers. Copies, duplex and color are chosen in the Android print dialog. Bluetooth-only, USB-only, receipt and label printers are not supported.
