Fractions stack, powers rise and roots use √, like on paper. Typed numbers stay exact: 0.1 + 0.2 = 0.3, 1⁄3 × 3 = 1, sin 30° = 1⁄2, √8 = 2√2, and √2 × √2 − 2 gives exactly 0.

■ Scientific functions
