Description

Our brains weren't built for bottomless feeds. Scrolly helps you take back control and live more intentionally.

Scrolly is a small NFC tag and a mindful companion that helps you break the habit of constant scrolling. When you're ready to focus, you simply tap Scrolly to your phone — it instantly blocks the apps that distract you most. To unlock them, you have to tap again. That short physical pause creates a moment of awareness before falling back into old patterns.

Why it works?

Most digital wellbeing tools are hidden behind settings or require self-control in the very moment of temptation. Scrolly changes the environment instead of relying on willpower. The simple act of reaching for a real object creates friction that helps you stay intentional and build sustainable habits.
Many users report saving more than 90 minutes a day — time they can spend on people and activities that actually matter.

How Scrolly works?

• Choose apps to block – Select the ones that consume your time (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
• Tap to block distractions – Touch Scrolly to your phone to block chosen apps
• Tap again to unlock – Apps stay locked until you decide to unlock them with another tap
• Stay present – Use the recovered time to focus, study, or simply rest without interruptions

Why Scrolly uses Accessibility API?

Scrolly uses the Android Accessibility API only to detect when selected distracting apps are opened and to temporarily block or redirect them. This permission is required for the app to work as described — without it, Scrolly cannot recognize or control access to those apps.
The Accessibility Service reads only which app is currently in the foreground. It never reads the content of your screen, your messages or anything you type, and it does not collect, store or share keystrokes or sensitive information.
Scrolly does use an account and collects usage data (such as focus sessions, app analytics and crash reports) to provide features like statistics, streaks and rankings. This is described in our Privacy Policy and in the Data safety section on this page.
The Accessibility Service is used exclusively to help users build healthier digital habits and effectively reduce phone overuse.

v2.2.1

I have been really appreciating this app the past few days and I feel like it could really help me manage my screentime, but for some reason on my Google Pixel 8a the accessibility permissions keep turning off and I've just learned that when the permissions are off, none of the apps are blocked. How do I fix this? If this can't be fixed, then there's no point to the app, especially with how much the little Scrolly dude costs.

Great product! Really simple idea that's super effective and I love that there's no subscription fee. Had a little trouble scanning with the scrolly until I figured out nfc needs to be turned on, so it'd have been nice if it prompted this, but otherwise works flawlessly. Tap it to focus at the start of my work day, tap it again when I'm finished.
