Sound Analyzer Basic

Sound Analyzer Basic lets you analyze audio signals using only your phone or tablet.
It displays the frequency spectrum in real time and includes a waterfall view for tracking spectral changes over time and a waveform view for displaying the audio waveform.

When analyzing a stable, single-frequency tone in a low-noise environment, the app can estimate the peak frequency to within approximately 0.1 Hz using the default settings. Results depend on the device's microphone, audio processing, and input signal quality.

About High-Frequency Spectra
The maximum frequency can be set as high as 96 kHz, but settings above 22.05 kHz are intended for devices with high-quality audio input.
Most devices filter out signals above approximately 22 kHz. Increasing the setting cannot recover signals removed by the device, so it is normal to see only faint noise below −60 dB in this range.
On some devices, audio processing may produce stronger noise at specific frequencies, such as 48 kHz or 96 kHz.
