Description

Make room for the photos you want to keep. Bulk Image Compressor lets you process one image or a batch on your device, review the results, and save or share them.

Choose a target file size or work by image quality. In target size mode, enter a goal in KB or MB for each image. The app tries to get close to that size; the final file can vary with the image and chosen output format. In quality mode, use the slider or the Clear, Balanced, and Compact presets to find a useful balance between detail and storage. The app gives guidance when a target is likely to require strong compression. The selection list shows file names, formats, sizes, count, and total size.

Set up a batch in one place. Apply common settings to all selected images, then customize a particular image when it needs different size or quality settings. Remove an image from the selection if you change your mind. Save a named compression preset for a future batch, apply it later, or delete presets you no longer use. Clear, Balanced, and Compact correspond to 90%, 70%, and 50% quality. You can also reset an image's custom settings so it follows the batch again.

Resize is available in quality mode. Turn it on and enter a width or height in pixels with Keep aspect ratio enabled; the other dimension follows the original proportions. For a batch, that calculation is made separately for each image. In an individual image's settings, the paired dimension updates as you type. Turn Keep aspect ratio off and enter both dimensions for a fixed shape; different proportions may stretch the picture. Leave resizing off to retain original dimensions.

Before processing, choose JPEG, WebP, or PNG as the output format. JPEG is a familiar option for photos, but transparent areas become white. WebP can keep transparent areas, while PNG offers lossless output and keeps transparency. PNG does not use the quality slider and may miss a target size. Availability of an output format depends on support on your device. If you choose JPEG, you can decide whether to remove embedded photo metadata or retain metadata from a JPEG original when present. WebP and PNG output removes embedded photo metadata.

Check the outcome before you keep it. Preview and zoom into a selected image, or create a comparison preview with the current settings. After compression, drag the before-and-after control to inspect visible detail. Results show original and output sizes, bytes and percentage saved when smaller, the total batch change, and warnings for files that grew larger or missed a target. This makes it easier to adjust expectations before saving a batch.

Save one compressed image or save all results as separate image files. For a group that is easier to move together, save the batch as one ZIP archive. You can also share an individual image, all images, or the ZIP archive through your device's share options. Rename a result before saving it, or remove a result that you do not want.

Open My images to revisit saved images and ZIP archives. Search saved file names, preview images, open saved ZIP files with a compatible app, share files again, or delete items you no longer need. Saved items appear newest first and show their size and date. Your presets and saved-file list are kept on the device. The home screen also offers system, light, and dark theme choices and an option to share the app.

Use it to prepare photos for sharing, reduce a batch's size, and inspect the tradeoff between detail and storage.
