1. For IMAP mail the app doesn't sync labels that were applied after the app downloaded the email. You check mail with this app, then your desktop email client applies filters and shuffles emails into their folders, then you refresh in the app again - all emails stay in one heap of Inbox. 2. The app refuses to sync folders unless you sync them manually one by one. 3. For decades, Thunderbird team had been refusing to implement export/import of filters. Now they don't even have filters in app.

While we are working on improving and refactoring our message sync, be sure to check your app has unrestricted battery access to enable background sync! You can check this by long pressing the app icon, tapping the info icon, and tapping 'Battery'

Great app overall. very easy interface with customisable options for swipe etc. love the unified account makes it very simple to view all mails quick a few improvements to make the app 5 stars. implement a filter option for read or unread mails add a unified sent emails

Thunderbird is getting better and better. one thing I'm missing is create new maps in Thunderbird. Its possible on the desktop version but not in de android app version. Open source no shady databrokers that are able to use their email client to track and sell data to third party. Thunderbird is a clean mail client no nonense.
