this game is beautiful and I definitely finished it once. but I have absolutely no clue how. I am stuck the helpful light shows that I need to get an item behind glass which I already knew. I just can't see a way to open this dang thing. a better hint mechanic would greatly improve things. I don't want to rely on an external walkthrough.

Absolutely no hints at all! I would of never made it through this game if it wasn't for the walkthrough because you just don't know what you're supposed to be doing! This could have been an amazing game if it just gave you directions on what to do!

I don't consider myself particularly dumb, but it was obvious that this game suffered from a lack of playtesting - many of the later puzzles are so contrived that there is no reasonable way to get through them without a walkthrough, which sucks the fun out of everything since you can't play with any real intentionality. I finished it out of spite rather than any actual satisfaction. Next time, play-test.

I truly enjoyed playing this game even without having hints. I thought that would bother me but it just forces one to look and think more carefully and intentionally. The graphics are great and I also like the tribute room at the end with all the family and friends photos, as a photographer that hit hime for me.
