It’s perfect.
As a 12-year-old student learning programming, I would like to share my experience with Swift Playgrounds. I think it is an amazing app because it makes learning coding both fun and easy to understand. The lessons are presented very clearly and in a simple way. Everything is explained step by step, so I can follow along without getting confused. Even topics like loops and conditionals, which seemed difficult at first, become much easier because they are taught in a fun and interactive way. I also like how the app gives feedback when I make mistakes. It helps me understand what I did wrong and improve my code. The visuals and interactive parts make learning more enjoyable, and I don’t get bored while studying. Overall, I think Swift Playgrounds is a great app for beginners like me. It makes me enjoy learning programming and motivates me to keep going.

Great program
I wish it had a better developer. It’s not clear what Apple intends for it and thus if Users can rely on it. 🤷

Come on, Apple. I need this!
How is this so broken? Latest OS makes it unusable as it doesn’t inherit the permissions necessary for it to even function. Keeps popping up persistently with no end.

Doesn’t Run on MacBook Air M4
I had used the Swift Playground app in the past, on my old MacBook Air M1. Recently, I purchased a MacBook Air M4. I downloaded the application but it displays no UI. The right click menu for its Dock icon indicates that there were several windows belonging to the app, but I couldn’t see any of them. Very strange behavior!

App permission dialogue keeps popping up
“Get Started with Apps wants to access data from other apps” dialogue keeps popping up every few seconds. Clicking allow does not suppress the dialogue and it keeps popping up forever. It might be related to the new privacy model with the macOS 26. Unusable.
