Permissions
To film and save your videos, Shardee requires the following access:
- Camera: To shoot photos and videos
- Microphone: To record audio with your videos
- Photos & Videos: To import saved clips for editing
- Storage: To save your recordings and edits on your device
Health Connect: optional step-count overlay
With your permission, Shardee reads step counts from Health Connect for the dates of the photos and videos you edit. Add daily steps or a total for the video period to your vlog preview and exported video to record your walking activity alongside your memories.
For media captured more than 30 days ago, optional health data history access lets Shardee read steps for those older dates. Shardee does not write or change Health Connect records. Step counts in an exported video are visible to people you share that video with.
This feature is optional. You can use the camera and editor without connecting Health Connect, and revoke access in Health Connect at any time.
