v4.8.97

it is a feature-packed app. I'm aware of the technical challenges involved but it works remarkably well! I always have to do some manual adjustments after taking a photo, but it always takes me less than a minute before getting the final result. it is super simple to use and intuitive. my favorite features: the air distance to peak and possibility to open the peak GPS in another app. edit after 1 year use: still love it!!

For me totally useless app- it can only name peaks if you set the grid manually and show it where they are.

v4.8.96

cool application

Developer Response

PeakFinder now offers account creation via email/password or Google SSO. The latest Google SSO library also supports fingerprint/biometric login, which is why these permissions appear. PeakFinder itself doesn't use them — and Android always asks for your explicit consent, so no app can access them without your permission.

v4.8.94

This app is a heap of shite. The time and date controls are useless. it constantly reverts to some random date. ok, I am using it for the eclipse, so specific, but it is so gory it is scary

Developer Response

if you hold your device in landscape mode and activate the date slider, you‘ll find an icon with a clock&calendar at the left on the slider. you may use this for entering the precise date and time
