You can modify skin colors in the settings + Skin editor. There are also many theme packages with different icons to download. Tap on them + Import.

Edit: It works great on my Android TV box. The old review was because on my Philips Android TV's OS, opening and then closing any file from an SMB storage location would freeze the app.

Great features, but not very good documentation. Took a while to figure out. Further info... the documentation consists of a long thread of intermixed Q&A that is hard to search, and hard to follow, with no illustrations, and many unanswered questions. What is intuitive to the author is not necessarily intuitive to users. I figured things out, but it took a while. Still, I bought the paid version after trying the free one.

It's actually intuitive but maybe it's not just similar to unintuitive apps you were using before. ;) There is also a large forum and documentation for MiXplorer in XDA developer website.

The last update broke sftp. Connecting with ssh key. it worked properly for years. Server, connection and key work since I can connect to my pc using termux with the same key. Please fix this. (I see others also mention sftp problems)

The app is generally great. The latest version, July 17 2026, seems to have broken SFTP? Old connections that have always work are just prompting for password over and over without connecting.

what happened? after this latest update the app is constantly asking for permission to detect nearby wifi devices, which i don't want or need, also some of my network shares are no longer loading, when i have changed nothing and other apps can still see them.
