As others mentioned, this has a good AI and nice features like marking where you want to place your piece before placing it. However, you cannot have unlimited time for turns, and even if you mute the sound effects and background music, the app will pause any media you try to play while playing. You either listen to their music, or play in silence. Otherwise, works great.

The base gameplay is fine and good enough. Two major problems: 1. I purchased the option to remove ads in-app. This did not stop ads appearing. I tried reinstalling the app to see if this would fix it, but it then seemed to forget I'd even paid to remove ads. I tried again without success. So I have now paid to remove ads TWICE and still have ads. 2. Even when the sound is turned off in the settings, this app pauses all other sound from other apps on the phone, e.g. music or podcasts.
