Paired with a Tracer 9 GT, need "data cable" and Wifi to be connected (Mirror). Not connection friendly, I dont always have immediate connection on the first try. Using the toggle button seem lag and best to set on your phone first before riding off. I accidentally escape out from navigation and connecting back is a problem, got to stop and try after few attempt (Restart everything Best- handphone holder, it will be faster to set navigation on phone than going through this app.

Dear Customer, For wireless connection, a USB cable is not required. Please refer to the FAQ: https://reurl.cc/N2D5ok If reconnection fails, please check whether motorcycle Wi-Fi/Bluetooth and the Yamaha app (such as MyRide or Y-Connect) are connected properly. For wired connection, a USB hub may help stability.

If it can actually find an address in its data, the navigation is OK. The problem, and it's a huge one, is that it is unable to match most addresses and is totally incapable of finding postcodes. The issue of it not finding common destinations in it's database makes it unusable 9 times out of 10.

i use this app for my Tracer 9 GT from 2025, but i heavily dislike it mainly cuz the overlay feels very old, searching a place is not easy and if i export it from (google) maps i always ending up in France its not a place i wanna be nor is it close to the location i need to be (im from the Netherlands and driving in there) i even tried to reinstall it and still the same problems, the only thing it did was removing my favourites and nothing else improved... please Garmin fix it

Maps don't render properly on a Pixel 10, it random loads blue squares instead of actual map tiles. it got better when I switched to Angle Renderer, but still not good. Sharing from Google Maps to Garmin does not work, it messes up the coordinates ( only tried with negative longitude ). Connection to the bike it's flaky, it sometimes does not come back after I stop. I need to fully close the app and shut down the bike to try again. it worked way better on iPhone.
