Kind of seems like it's a recorder, plus a tracking device because not enough apps do that for no reason at all. Is every single utility app going to be like this?

it didn't before but now with more modern android recording stops with screen lock which is irksome. Otherwise love it

Super disappointed, I tested it out before I went to a medium and recorded the whole session for over an hour. It was a flat line with absolutely no audio. I tested it afterwards too, I still can't figure it out.
