Love this app! Most fun I've had in a long time. More games like this, please! The translating of different made up languages with their own grammar was intriguing and satisfying to get right. I want to play more like this. Sequel?

This is an absolute beast of a game. Loved it very much. The puzzles were thrilling, but not that hard so you get stuck and the controls were responsive. Loved it very much! It didn't even feel like a mobile game. I want more 🙃 Also, I think the bug (which I see in other reviews) was fixed for good. I didn't encounter any bugs at all.

This was an amazing experience! Really immersive language puzzles that make you feel like a genius when you figure them out, and an engaging narrative with an ending that feels built up to and earned! I couldn't help but smile at that sequence just before the credits! Chants of Sennaar ran perfectly on my Retroid Pocket 4 -- no slowdown, hiccups, or crashes, just buttery smooth gameplay and beautiful graphics all the way to the end.

Unique and beautiful!

I loved playing this game. I keep telling people about it. Beautiful graphics and music, really engaging puzzles, and I loved the level of difficulty. The decoding and translating was so fun for me in a nerdy, linguistics-loving way, and the puzzle solutions weren’t always immediately obvious but weren’t so frustrating that I had to go consult a wiki just to work it out. LOVED IT thank you devs

Incredible.

Truly enjoyed every second of playing this game. Beautiful graphics and entrancing puzzles. First time I’ve paid for a game and I feel like I may have set myself up for future disappointment.

Hangs after upgrading to 26.0.1

Enjoyed this game but after upgrading to iOS 26.0.1 from iOS 18 it hangs after playing the intro videos and never gets to the title screen. Support request seems to go in a black hole not even an auto responder hey we got your issue email. Update: That contact form was the form I used, I don’t know why it seems it didn’t go through. I did remove and reinstall the app which is working again but unfortunately my save game which was in the mid/late phase of the game is gone so I’ve got to start over. The game itself is unequivocally great but my experience with this bug and loosing my save less so.

Black screen bug can’t finish game

Towards the end of the game when going past the abbey murals tried going past the missing mural and down the stairs to the left and got stuck with a black screen and can’t do anything, tried closing game and restarting but still stuck on black screen, sometimes there’s music but screen stays black no matter what I try to do and can’t complete the game Edit: bug fixed
