Description

With the Blood Oxygen app on Apple Watch Series 6 or later*, you can measure the blood oxygen saturation levels directly from your wrist. Using the blood oxygen sensor on Apple Watch, the Blood Oxygen app can help you assess oxygen levels in your blood and get insights into how well your body is absorbing oxygen and overall wellness.

Features

Allows you to take on-demand blood oxygen measurements.

Performs periodic background measurements throughout the day and overnight if you wear your Apple Watch to sleep.

Stores all measurements in the Health app on iPhone, with the ability to filter and view measurements taken while asleep or in a high-elevation environment.

For models of Apple Watch purchased in the United States on or after January 18, 2024 with part numbers ending in LW/A, the Blood Oxygen data analysis is performed on iPhone, and results can be viewed in the Health app.

Anyone with a watch should be able to access HEALTH features. Blood oxygen levels are not inappropriate for anyone to see.

I have an new apple SE watch and can’t have this app?!?! Make it available it could be really helpful for people who have asthma

Needs a low oxy notification!!!!

Major oversight? Why doesn’t this offer a low blood oxygen notification? Like how we get an AFIB or high heart rate notification if we have an Apple Watch? It would really help with COVID patients who are told they don’t need to go to the hospital until they reach a certain threshold.
