Probably the most straightforward app for running small LLMs directly on an Android device. However, conversation mode appears to have a critical bug: models don't receive user input. This behavior is consistent accross various LLMs (both recommended and downloaded outside the app). Running Phi-4-mini sheds some light on the issue, with the model claiming that it only receives newline characters instead of a proper instruction.

hidden permissions requires extra foreground process "datasync" and wont run without google enabled. also it's just horribly designed. apparently code stolen from opensource, but then the UI sucks in your models , keeps them, and incorrectly labels them all as "llama", so that you lose track of all the best models. a fourth grader could have coded a better app then this.
