Aegis: Orbit Defense

Fun little idle tower defense game with a great soundtrack. I like being able to try different strategies and upgrade my defenses at a relaxed pace - the progression is satisfying. I also like being able to choose whether to watch an ad or solve a puzzle to get bonus perks like upgraded units or replenished hit points. Very enjoyable game overall.

This is one of the best td games on the play store but there is one ultra annoying point. The graphics are smooth and attractive, banging soundtrack and the unique units provide lots of strategies. To the devs... STOP CHANGING UNIT COSTS AND UNLOCKS. Every week assembly costs 20 and I lose access to two units then the following week you push a patch that puts assembly back to 10 then hides units again. What are you doing?

As an educator that teaches game development, I talk about how game developers sometimes do post mortems about their products. I brought this game up to my students because I believe that the music absolutely slaps. I rarely review apps but seeing as I was prompted to update the game today, I decided to make sure to note my thoughts. While the overall gameplay is your typical wave survival game, the music player is fantastic with the ability to repeat and skip songs. Keep up the great work!
