This made balancing our fan stupidly easy. I thought it would be snake oil but it worked perfectly on a three blade fan with a high speed wobble!

Best $3 I ever spent. It worked perfectly with my phone's front facing camera. I went through the steps twice. The first time it had me put two weights on the fan which brought the wobbling down from 20 to 8. On the second balance run with the clip on the 2nd blade I didn't even have to take a measurement because I could see it was completely stable so I simply took the third weight and slapped it on the edge of blade two. The app now shows zero wobble. I am excited to install the next fan 😊

Can't believe it worked. It was very fiddly with the camera position and lighting in the room while checking the wobble. But once I got high "accuracy" for all of the blades everything went smoothly. I added the weights it prescribed and it balanced a fan that I haven't been able to balance for 5 years. Amazing.

I can't remember ever leaving a positive review for an app before. This fan wobble was causing us to lose sleep. I've balanced ceiling fans for 20 year just by eye, but we bought this massive 6ft diameter 8 blade fan hanging on a 4ft drop pole, and I was moving my test weights around trying to eyeball it and getting nowhere. So I gave this app a try. It was shocking how good this app was. lay phone on something steady, and follow instructions. My fan doesn't even move now. Rock solid.

this app does work but as others say is finicky. here were my steps: - a white sheet of paper 3"x3" with a dime sized black dot in the middle. - position the phone almost EXACTLY 2 ft from dot. - ensure fan is on HIGH even if balancing lower speeds. it needs the high speed to detect the fan - light of the fan should be fully encompassed in the green circle. - ensure the area is lit enough with indirect lighting with all of this it worked perfectly! might have to do it twice
