would be good to see other shark sights on the app, *recent reports/photos maybe work alongside shark dive companies to get other species tracked eg Whale.
Developer Response
Thanks for the feedback Stacy. This is something we'd love to see too, when time and resources permit. Our big push with 2.1 has been clearly communicating "Last seen" dates, UI improvements, bug fixes and creating a stable foundation to enable further new and exciting features. Thanks for your support!

It's unusual how many people are either unable to read properly or don't know how to use a map. A lot of complaining about "ShArKs NoT mOvInG" when there are clear, obvious "last seen" dates contradicting this, not to mention very clear info regarding why locations can be infrequent in at least 4-5 different places Yet still, these people expect the (volunteer) app developer to be a shark whisperer who can ensure wild animals surface the ocean and provide regular updates for human amusement.

tracking no longer seems to work, sharks haven't moved for months.
Developer Response
There's at least 4 places in the app and online explaining how updates are received and it appears you haven't read any of them, nor have you contacted anybody to bring the issue to light so it can be investigated... And that's if there even is an issue: Waihi surfaced 6 days ago and 6 new sharks were added to the map less than a week ago 🫠

Waste of money. 11 sharks registered. The latest update is over 2 months ago with the majority not even in 2025. Do not waste your money. I'll be requesting refund.
Developer Response
Hi Josh, 15 of 19 are from 2025, a shark surfaced last month and the "Read before purchasing" text in the app description, website and "Help" section of the app explain how updates arrive. The app's free online but for the very small price of a coffee you can download the mobile app to support the study. If you're having issues, send us an email.
