This app is a route planner and host application for the Navigation Companion - G Maps running on Huawei smartwatches. Plan your route on the phone, start navigation, and put your phone back in your pocket. You will see live map updates and turn-by-turn guidance directly on your wrist.

This app requires a compatible smartwatch and companion software.

• Installation: You must install the "Navigation Companion - G Maps" app on your smartwatch via AppGallery.

EDIT: Just updated to v2.1.0-plys, now the application are working fine. it took a few seconds to refresh the map when you're moving and kind of a performance hog. since it's based on Bluetooth connection, I'm fine with limited satellite image quality and slower refresh period. but the apps itself need improvement to run on my fairly powerful phone (Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 with 12 GB of RAM).

Hi. The app isn't crashing, but closing itself because your device didn't pass the Google Play Integrity security check. If your phone is rooted, uses a custom ROM, or lacks official Google Services, the app will display a message at the bottom and close automatically. downloaded this so I could have maps on my huawei watch fit 4, you cannot have battery saver on whilst using the app and it has to be running continuously to see the maps on your watch, also in the watch it was advertised as being able to see the maps without having a route set which didn't work at all.

Dear Customer, you can see map without route, just press green play button in phone app without route set. During navigation map is dimmed between maneuvers to save battery untill you tap the screen (or incoming maneuver is close)
