Bring the Commodore Amiga to your Android device. Retro-Amiga is a full Amiga emulator built on the UAE engine, ready to run Amiga software you legally own.

RUN YOUR AMIGA
Load ADF, HDF, WHDLoad and IPF images from device storage. Point the app at the folder your files live in once, through the system folder picker, and it becomes your library. Configure memory, Kickstart and hardware to match each title.

AUTHENTIC AUDIO AND VIDEO
Accurate chipset emulation and Paula audio deliver the look and sound of the real machine. Mount hard drives, swap disks and use save states to pick up exactly where you left off.

HOW STORAGE WORKS
No storage permissions are requested. You grant one folder through Android's own picker. On devices that allow apps to read shared storage directly - most retro handhelds, and phones on Android 12 or older - your collection is used exactly where it is, including on an SD card: nothing is copied. On phones where Android blocks that access (many stock Android 13+ devices), the app copies your chosen folder into its own storage instead - allow enough free space, and note that uninstalling the app removes those copies. Your original files are never modified or deleted.

This app ships with no copyrighted software and no Kickstart ROMs. Add your own legally owned Amiga titles and ROMs to begin.

Retro-Amiga is derived from the WinUAE lineage and the Amiberry codebase; Amiberry is the upstream source for much of the non-Windows portability and surrounding tooling. Released under the GNU General Public License v3.0.

⚠️v1.0.2 Something is wrong with the latest update; the app is scanning the correct folder but can't find anything.⚠️ ------- v1.0.1 Please add the option to select an HD directory, like in WinUAE, when you are prompted to choose an HDF file. I have an original Amiga HD directory full of apps that are already installed, transferred from my old Amiga HD; they are fully compatible with WinUAE and the unofficial Android version. Thank you 👍

I'm running this on a Galaxy Tab A9+, and with every new update it just keeps get worse. I can never get AGS to work, it just goes black and dose nothing. Now it can't even see any of my files, or any of my folders on the SD card. It defiantly needs a better instruction manual, or better, a video tutorial, also could do with what device spec's your limited too.

Trying to get used to the new Retro version, all previous settings, configs lost , new features happy to see include alphabet buttons for adf files very handy to select instead of scrolling through lots of files. Now if only I could get WB 3.1 to boot and find a way to load Dopus

I have not been able to get this emulator to load any games. I have reached out to the developer to see if I can get some help. UPDATE: The developer released an update and now the emulator is working great. I was able to load and play Phantasie III and Alien Breed '92. It did take me a few tries to select the correct Amiga version and kickstart file to get Alien Breed to work.

It works very well with floppy disk images (although drive speed/turbo setting would be a good addition). I also managed to get the AGS working, but it seems to hang if 10 hard disks are used, so I had to manually map 9 of the necessary AGS disks (I didn't map the 2 emulator ones to keep the total number below 10). Unfortunately the auto-AGS feature maps a 10th hard disk as "shared" which causes a hang. Only a minor inconvenience and is easy to work around, but it might put off a few people.
