I was pulling weeds at home and quickly grew suspicious of what I just touched. Pulled out the Seek app and identified Eastern Poison Ivy! I had enough time to go cleanse myself before it set in. This app saved my skin. Literally.

I like how the app gives a short description about the species. It would be helpful to me if I could tap on the source (e.g. Wikipedia ) like a link to open a vroswer that takes me to the species page.

I downloaded this app a few months ago. It was great at first. Now it only shows me the scientific name of the plants. I have tried toggling back and forth, in the settings, between Scientific and Common names. It hasn't helped this glitch. Very frustrating and no longer useful.

Gets it right sometimes...but has a big problem if a stick is in the photo. Of the known specimens (plants and insects) that I tested it on, it got most of them extremely incorrect. Like identifying a tree root as a Western Diamondback Rattlesnake kind of incorrect.

I mean... when I am using an app like this and trying to identify a plant, the first thing I want to know every time is if it is toxic, or not. I have to ask my browser nearly every time, after I use iSeek to tell me what it is, "is this toxic?". That in mind, I can only give 2 stars. Also, it says every green plant I ask about is dicots.
