not great but does the job

i only use itv x to watch love island. it works fine on my ipad but for some reason I can’t sign into it on my tv. i enter my email to sign in and it tells me that it sent an email to me, email never came through, i re-sent the email several times and tried to send it on my phone too. also, the app doesn’t save your episode progress sometimes, and then you have to watch a set of ads to start watching and then when you skip forward to the part you were on, you have to watch another set of ads. all over 3 mins. ads sometimes freeze aswell meaning i have to come out of it and start the whole progress again

The app is so focused on adds, is you try and watch a program half way through it will put you through 2 or 3 SETS of adds. Also constantly gives warnings about using my data package except during the add breaks

Continue Watching

There is no way to delete annoying unwanted programmes in continue watching. I’ve reset, deleted and reinstalled - nothing works. Other channels have a remove button. The most annoying are the shows ITVX just started playing and are now stuck in continue watching. Consequently I’ve now switched to another channel.

Annoying ads

The three stars represent the quality of the programs. The missing stars are because of the long pointless ads that pop up at breaks and don’t give you the option to skip them. You also get them even if you’re resuming the program from where you left it regardless of it being a point in the program that there wouldn’t be a break. Plus they’re long and often repeated so that the ads end up being nothing but an annoying waste of time. I wish the ads would stop all together and just let us enjoy the programs we wish to see.
