PDFos opens PDFs and Office documents in one app: read them, sign them, mark them up, and edit Word and Excel files, all on your device.
READING
• Continuous scrolling with a page counter, and a go to page control for long documents
• Find in document: every match is marked, and the arrows step from one to the next
• Press and hold a word to highlight a passage in one of four colours, or copy the text
• Night mode inverts the page so light text sits on a dark background
• Pinch to zoom, and tap the page to clear the toolbars out of the way

WORD, EXCEL AND POWERPOINT
• Open .docx, .xlsx and .pptx files without leaving the app
• Word: type straight into the document, make words bold, italic or underlined, change the typeface, size, colour and alignment, and save a copy as PDF
• Excel: change values and formulas and watch the totals update, pick from a list of functions, and colour cells and text
• PowerPoint: page through slides, see the speaker notes, and present full screen
• Start a new blank Word document or Excel spreadsheet from the home screen
• Undo and redo while you edit, and save the result wherever you choose
• Hebrew and Arabic documents read right to left
SIGNING AND MARKING UP
• Sign with your finger, and keep up to three signatures ready for the next document
• Draw freehand with a pen, a marker or a highlighter, in five colours and three widths
• Add text, checkmarks, crosses, circles and arrows, then drag, resize or delete them
• Undo and redo as you work, and hide what you added to compare against the original page
• Crop and rotate one page, or apply the same change to every page
ORGANISING AND CONVERTING
• Merge several PDFs into one, and drag the list to set the order
• Split a document after the pages you choose
• Save only the pages you want, entered as a range such as 1-3, 5, 7-10
• Compress at one of three quality settings, and see the size before and after

EVERY EDIT IS PREVIEWED FIRST
Merging, signing, highlighting, compressing, cropping and rotating open the result as a preview. Nothing overwrites your original until you choose Save and pick where the new file goes.
ABOUT YOUR FILES
PDFos works only on the files you hand it. It uses the Android file picker, so it never asks for access to all files on your phone, and it cannot see documents you have not opened. Reading, editing, signing, converting and password protection all run on the device. There is no account and no sign in step.
The page scanner and the review prompt come from Google Play services, which is why the app lists network permissions. PDFos does not upload your documents.
