Description

Intended as a supplement to the print and digital editions of the Trinity Psalter Hymnal (https://www.trinitypsalterhymnal.org/), the Trinity Psalter Hymnal app features the full text and music of the songbook, as well as tune recordings (professional and high-quality MP3 recordings to come soon in a future upgrade). Some key features of the app include: searchable full text, browsable title and first line index, favorite songs list, advanceable bookmark for working through the songs one by one, and looping of a tune for the number of stanzas in each song. The mobile app is a great resource for planning worship, learning new songs, and singing along in family devotions.

Future app upgrades and features are being developed to include professional and high-quality MP3 tune recordings, browsable hymn table of contents, and robust Scripture and tune indexes akin to those in the print editions. By purchasing and downloading digital editions of the Trinity Psalter Hymnal, the purchaser agrees to the TPH Digital End User Agreement.

Good app. unfortunately I get it to desperately the whole psalm or hymn in my tablet. I can on my phone with a small screen but not my tablet. I may resort to taking screenshots on my phone and sending them to my tablet.

This app gives you all of the psalms put to music as well as an abundance of excellent old hymns along with sheet music and piano audio. I am thankful that I can sing the psalms on my own with lyrics and piano in one convenient place.

Any plans to bring the Play version up to the same quality as the iPhone version? I just sang 119C on the Play version and wish there were more piano songs.

Audio issues: -ST. THOMAS (Williams) (108, 110A, and 405) doesn't play at all. -GAIRNEY BRIDGE (115B) has a long pause and then some extra random notes at the end of each verse. -BLAENWERN (132 and 399) has an incorrectly counted note (the third quarter note of the fourth measure of the first line). Text issues: -Stanza 5 of 216 should begin with "Praise" instead of "Praised."
