Robbing pensioners

Didn’t used to have to pay for a selected seat to check in early as long as you paid for priority boarding and luggage. Well done Ryanair you’ve done it again managed to screw every little penny out of pensioner passengers.

Consistency in Misinformation

This app is actively used to feed passengers misinformation. Ryanair consistently pushes aggressive alerts claiming “Gate Closed” or “Boarding” based purely on the original schedule entirely ignoring real-time delays. You sprint to the gate under a wave of artificial panic only to find an empty tarmac, an aircraft yet to arrive and a queue of frustrated passengers forced to stand in a concrete stairwell for 45 minutes. Under consumer protection regulations, airlines are actually forbidden from misleading passengers and providing false data that induces panic or forces them to stand in holding pens for extended periods falls under unfair trading practices and misrepresentation. In 2026 one should be able to expect an app that works and has accurate information. It can’t be that hard.

Terrible app. I tried to buy a ticket twice filling all the details and on the payment page, it simply says payment fails and all progress is lost.

Gmail login does work... Sits there rotating and nothing happens. Booking of the ticket was done online via web and the now I'm told I need a useless app to have my boarding pass as paper is not accepted... Splendid

All this trying to sell people stuff every step of the way is very offputting especially when you’re trying to check and it leads you towards making mistakes. If people want to buy something they will buy it. Just put it on your front page and leave there you don’t need to pursue it at every opportunity

wrong pricing in the app menu compared to actual in flight prices. also extras in the mobile app not adding up to total and stewards charging extra without me knowing as app shoes different pricing.
