Q: Is this for beginners or experienced tuners?
A: Both. Experienced tuners use it to save time and typically run higher oversteer settings. Newer tuners use it to learn how to tune and make sure the cars are stable after upgrading.

Q: How do I use the app?
A: Copy several car details from the game into ForzaTune, hit "Calculate" and copy the results into the tuning menu in Forza Motorsport or Forza Horizon. There is also a series of video tutorials on YouTube to get you started.

Q: What settings and upgrades do I need?
A: You will need racing upgrades like suspension, braking, anti-roll bars, and differential to change the values in the tuning menu. You can also use drift, rally and adjustable stock suspensions when available (like off-road buggies and some trucks in Horizon). You will also have the best results if you disable stability management (STM) and traction control (TCS) for lower class cars. Normal or simulation steering is fine.

Q: Why is tuning your cars important?
A: Upgrades can change how the car feels (for better or worse). ForzaTune lets you bring it back to a balanced setup. Also, tuning doesn't affect your PI or race restrictions—so this is how you can gain an advantage over other racers.

This app had been invaluable to me for playing FH5 and FH6. I'm not particularly heavy into the sim side of things and found the tuning aspect of the game impenetrable. This app means I can tune my cars up to be competitive while still having the option to tweak settings to suit my style or a particular course, which downloaded tunes don't allow you to do. I used the free app for a while, then paid for the pro version because it was so damned useful. Cannot recommend this highly enough.

its an amazing concept but right now a waste of money because the tunes it gives you when you put the info in are incorrect I tried using the simulated value and I was topping out. I tried max speed of the car from other tunes and it only used some of the gears and it seems to be slower than my tunes. but the suspension tuning is actually great if thats all you want it for

Say consistently in the top 1% on Forza but been struggling for a while now on just getting that last extra step. Fettled with setups for hours and hours and could get the car to a strong one lap pace but it would be super inconsistent and twitchy. Saw this app and thought why not. Only a fiver. Immediately gained on every track you go to in any car. I’m not able to use the cars I want rather than the meta cars to win and it’s great. Big ol’ Bentley GT3 now consistently at the top. Can’t recommend this app highly enough. It’s like having my own little pit crew. Thanks guys 👍

A little bit useless

Tested this as well as a few other apps. All seem to suggest different tuning settings, which are pretty much useless. This app is no different. When adjusting the tune - some of the settings don’t change and remain as they are (when they really should) - makes you instantly question how reliable tuning recommendations are. Many times the resulting tune is not even a ballpark. Not a matter of personal preference but if the car slides, it slides - nothing to do with your driving style. I’ve tuned a number of cars manually and this is the only way to do so especially if you are using a wheel/sim rig.

Pros and Cons

While the Forza Tune Pro app has its limitations, I found it useful for understanding the impact of adjusting certain values for a specific car. It serves as an indirect guide, helping to comprehend the rationale behind changes to specific tuning aspects. However, the tunes generated are often inaccurate and require constant adjustments. The app seems outdated, especially for Forza Motorsport 2023. Despite these drawbacks, it’s a helpful tool for beginners trying to grasp the basics of car tuning. But for its price, one might expect more precision and up-to-date info.

A “MUST HAVE” setup aid

If you enjoy Forza Motorsport or any of the Horizon games, this app will fast become your best friend! I tried the free version for a few days, then quickly realised the Pro version was well worth the small investment. I have no regrets buying this app, a huge thanks goes to the developer for making a truly useful aid to my enjoyment of Forza… Getting this app, is a no brainier, in my opinion! 👌

Just brilliant

Had taught me how to set up cars to my driving style and drastically reduced my lap times. Skills learnt about tuning here can be transferred to other sims too.
