Too much advertising

I genuinely can’t get through a day with out getting overwhelmed by the advertising. It affects my mental health and general sanity. The algorithm is alright but I don’t get to see enough of the people I’m actually following, i just get endless catered adverts that I just don’t want nor need. Imstagram could be a little bit more peaceful if it wasn’t ways so targeted around advertising. And that’s my say as well as many others I’ve talked to

Why fix something that isn’t broken

Uploading photos has become the biggest ball ache ever!!! Constantly having to crop, screenshot and then just give up because the photo zoom is ridiculous! Change it back

Search Now Only Shows Accounts

Latest updates have ruined search. I can no longer search for reels or discover content properly. Almost every search just returns accounts, making Instagram far less useful than it used to be. If this is intentional, it’s a terrible change. If it’s a bug, it’s been left unfixed for too long.

Tags no longer work, you can’t search for anything so it’s useless. What’s happened?
