Established in 1937, the club was formed through the merger of two nine-hole golf courses previously located in Rydalmere (Spurway Ridge) and Eastwood. The new course was built on land owned by a local syndicate and businessman Les Mernin, with early development supported by volunteer labour from club members.
Following World War II, the club acquired the course land and officially incorporated in 1949. Continuous upgrades to the clubhouse and course have taken place over the years, resulting in a well-maintained facility with modern amenities.
